Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai movies is based on the novel of the same name by Chetan Bhagat. The author's work has never won any major literary accolades at its release, leading many to believe that it may have been a flop. However, this movie has a cult following in India and is still loved by its audience. So what makes Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai so well liked? It would be difficult to answer that question without looking at the audience's interest in it. In many ways, this movie is unlike other Bollywood films which contain traditional themes such as romance or family values. Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai is more of a coming-of-age story about two men who are struggling to find their place in life. The story, set in the 90's, revolves around two young men whose lives are very different. One of them is looking for his destiny whilst the other seems to have already found his own. The former is Zed, who comes from a humble background but has reached great heights through hard work. He wants to be someone who makes an impact on the world and he hopes that someday he will be able to realize his dreams. His close friend Aakash has always been someone who feels lost and has no real goals in life other than being happy with what he already has. Zed and Aakash are very different in terms of their choices and personalities. All that they share in common is their friendship. When Zed realizes that he has to leave his hometown for good, both Aakash and he try to grab the opportunity to keep in touch with one another. As an attempt to make sure this happens, Zed decides to meet up with Aakash in Delhi and catch a movie (which in itself shows how different these two men are). But when something goes horribly wrong on the day of the movie, Zed feels guilty for having pushed Aakash away from his life without even realizing it. At this point in the movie, it is clear that Zed will have to find a way to keep his friendship with Aakash alive. At this juncture of the film, both Zed and Aakash's lives go in different directions. Zed becomes a famous author and Aakash falls in love with a girl who wants him to change for her. The movie does not provide a definite answer as to whether they will ever see each other again, but they seem hopeful about their reuniting in the future. Critics have often noted that Chetan Bhagat's story does not resolve itself into any kind of conclusion. The movie was released in 2009 and the author has yet to write the sequel about Zed and Aakash. It is because of this that moviegoers can appreciate the characters' inner conflicts and will want to see more of them in future movies about them. Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from film critics. The most common theme that reviewers have noted is that Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai is a very well-written, thought-provoking film with performances by Irrfan Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui that are note-worthy.
